Our WORLD

MAED- ARCHER's orphanage in Haiti

Against all odds of the declining environment in Haiti, we are raising

awareness of the physical and financial needs of Haitian children.
Bringing them God's light and hope. Being God's hand extended to them.

THANK YOU for providing food and education to our crew for 5+ years.

Imagine each child's growth in mind, body and soul over 5 years.  YOU are sowing hope here.

MEET THE BROTHERS AZOR:
The Azor brothers were two early additions at MAEDH.
At the time Davidson was 9 and Juvens was 6.

They are now teenagers.

In school, Davidson likes reading and writing (Creole),

while Juvens is into math.

Both are working on their French and can play the recorder.

Davidson could use some extra help as he understands

the material at school, but has trouble with retention.
Juvens is doing well and would like to pursue

construction and masonry.

Davidson appreciates hands-on efforts like sewing and art.
They both have regular chores at MAEDH and enjoy living there

because the other kids and the manager help them.

Like all the residents past and present,

they appreciate the MAEDH family and stability.

We appreciate your gift for 2025 and an indication of your intent for 2026 so we can continue to budget appropriately.  Would you also consider supporting one of the efforts noted below?

  • Fund schooling for $500/child/year

  • Fund a kid in camp for this past summer for $150

  • Fund the very used “new” car for $1500, or rent for $2500/year

  • Fund a month of food for $2500, or a week for $500.

This is completely an ARCHER Mission.  It is our largest program by far.

We need your support, so PLEASE note HAITI or MAEDH on your donation.

“Michael – even if you fail miserably, at least they will know you tried. That you care.”

ISLAND IMPACT - Island Impact Ministries
We believe that "faith without works is dead" so we share our faith by helping others in need by providing them with much-needed medical, food and housing assistance to the Haitian people of the Dominican Republic. These goals are accomplished through our local medical clinics, and hosting visiting teams and the generous donations of ordinary people.

Archer members have made over a dozen team trips to support the destitute Haitian villages in the Western Dominican Republic. The latest is 20 health care professional seeing over 1200 patients in March 2024

Update:  Anna Federico returned in MAY to lead a team of Nursing Students from the University of Northern Alabama.

Major milestone:

In September, FP celebrated 1.5 million meals served since 1991!

  • How the meals work:
Dinners come from local restaurants, churches, synagogues, and community groups.
Menus vary daily—often featuring pasta, Asian or Middle Eastern dishes, and even salmon or steak.
  • Volunteer experience:
Enjoy seeing what’s on the menu and the guests’ appreciation.
Meet volunteers from across Bergen County; enjoy camaraderie and conversation while serving.
  • Personal takeaway:
    Volunteering is rewarding and heartwarming.
Encourages others to get involved—there’s always room at the table to serve.
